Construction

Cabinet Box;
Cabinet grade 3/4" panel construction. Melamine interiors with solid wood veneered panels at finished ends. All cabinet joints are either datoed, glued or screwed or a combination of all when applicable. All cabinets have full - clean backs with integrated nailers on the outside of the back for a clean appearance.

Face Frame;
13/16" thick, clean and clear furniture selected solid lumber fgace frame stocks. Glued and pocket screwed from behind for exceptional strength. All face frames are full glued and clamped on boxes. No nails are required for a exceptional finished product. No nail holes to putty and discolor!

Shelves;
All shelves are 3/4" thick and fully adjustable up to 34" wide. Wider shelves will have either additional supports or solid wood edging for strength. Solid wood edging for decoration is common.

Drawers;
All drawer boxes are full, four sides boxes. Stock boxes are _" melamine for a clean and wipeable surface. Even our melamine drawer boxes are dovetail jointed for strength! Our most common enhancement suggesting a craftsman built cabinet is our fully finished, birch 10 ply wood drawer box, dovetailed and sanded. Plywood boxes do not warp like solid wood boxes wich becomes noticeable when using side mount ball bearing glides that can bind a box not perfectly square.

Hardware;
All hardware for components are the simply the best we can find. Snap on, fully adjustable concealed hinges are 'state of the art' for cabinet doors. Our standard drawer glide, though similar to less expensive glides are epoxy coated (this is better than paint and wont rust) and have Nylon wheels, which are better than plastic.
A very common upgrade is to a ball bearing, 100# capacity full extension glide. Both are side mounted to the cabinet sides for strength!

Doors and fronts;
Though the options are endless our 'standard' drawers and doors are 13/16 solid lumber. Doors are 5 piece-raised panel and fronts are solid slab with your choice of various panel and edge profiles.

Stains and Colors;
Many stock stains are available and will likely fit your intended look. However, sometimes custom stains and paints are needed for matching existing woodwork or specifications. Understanding the many variables that wood and finishes have we are fully capable, more than most, to similarly match to your requirements.

Finish;
Our stock varnish is a very strong, durable and beautiful conversion varnish. Three coats are generously applied to all products giving the look, feel and durability which is unequaled by other shops that pre finishing wood products.

Accessories;
Endless options to further customize and enhance you project are available either in house or brought it just for you!
